Gryphon Moulding Inc. is a wholesale distributor to-the-trade-only, and it reserves the right to determine the qualifications of a customer to purchase its products. A customer must be in the art and framing business or allied industry and must provide evidence of its legitimacy by way of an appropriate business License and a Resale Number. Possession of our catalog or a visit tour website does not constitute the right to buy.
Credit can be established by completing our credit application, listing three trade references and your bank. Allow two weeks for processing. Open account terms are 30 days, Net 30 based on invoice date. Orders will not be shipped to accounts with past due balances. Checks returned to Gryphon Moulding for NSF will lose any discounts and be charged an additional $25 processing fee. For special orders. Gryphon Moulding requires a signed Purchase Order and may require a 50% deposit at time of placing the order.
All prices, written or expressed otherwise, for merchandise and service will be understood as FOB Gryphon Moulding. Due to uncertain market conditions, prices are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep you informed of current pricing, and will invoice at the lowest possible price at the time of shipment.
• Our order desk is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. • Regular orders received before 11:00 a.m. local time will be shipped the same day. Those received after 11:00 a.m. will be sent out the following day. • When ordering, please give your customer number, name and advise us of how you wish your order to be shipped. • When placing length orders please give the minimum acceptable footage and we will ship the closest available stick(s) without shipping less than your order.
Lengths shipped by UPS may be a maximum of 8' long. Unless you specify otherwise, we will cut length moulding in the following sizes: (1 2' into 7' & 5'), (11' into 6' & 5'), (10' into 6' & 4'), (9' into 5' & 4') or (8' into 5' & 3'). If you plan to pick up merchandise at our warehouse, please let us know what time you will arrive to avoid waiting. We will require a minimum of 3 hours on will call orders. Large or special orders should be scheduled at the time the order is placed. Damaged shipments: If your shipment was damaged by the carrier, call us and we will arrange for the merchandise to be inspected and/or picked up.

We realize that your business as well as ours, depends upon timely service, and delays will not be tolerated. In this regard, we will let you know at the time the order is placed if we anticipate any delay beyond our normal 24-hour turnaround. Furthermore, we will call you if we anticipate any change in your expected delivery schedule. Please note that back orders will not be sent freight prepaid.
• Call us within 30 days of receipt if there is any discrepancy in your shipment. We will make an immediate correction of the error at no cost to you. • If your length moulding has an unusable defect, return the full stick for replacement. Partial stick returns will not be accepted. • If merchandise is returned for reasons other than our error, we must be notified within 10 days of receipt and issue you a return approval order. There will be a 15% restocking charge and you must pay the shipping charges back to Gryphon. No return will be allowed after 30 days. • Chops and joined frames will not be accepted for credit where there is evidence that the joining or fitting process has begun. • All purchases of special sale merchandise or discontinued items are final and not returnable: • Canceling length orders may entail a 15% restocking charge depending on the time of cancellation. There will be no charge for a chop stop order if received prior to cutting. Once your chop has been cut it will be billed for the full amount.
Chop service is available within 24 hours. All chops will have a standard 1/8-inch allowance (1/16 inch on each side) unless we are directed otherwise. Routing service for chops: • $5.00 per frame (I or 2 wedges each corner) • $10.00 per frame (3 or more wedges each corner) • Frames are held together with specially designed plastic inserts and glue. • Corners of the miter are routed at the time of chop. • Rugged plastic fastener locks into routed slot. • Tapered bottom of fastener allows fast, easy insertion with finger. • Perfect alignment each time. • No drilling or filling. • No more covering up nail holes. Fillet mouldings can be chopped to your specifications. To be precise, you may wish to order one inch larger than necessary and then cut back to your exact size at time of fitting. When ordering fillet chops, please let us know if you are ordering: • Sight measurement A to A • Mat measurement B to B • Frame measurement C to C
The service of joining frames is available. Joined frames will require two full working days before shipment. Boxes for shipping joined frames must be custom made and will be charged at $5.00 per box. We will accommodate as many frames as possible per box. The assorted sizes and number of your frames will determine how many boxes will be needed.
